ABOUT
For Los Angeles-based electronic pop artist Alarke's song "Future Self", we created stunning visuals to complement the upbeat and melodic music. The song is a groovy and melodic track with a positive message of stepping into your future self. It features manipulated vocals, jazzy chords, UK garage-inspired beats, and Jersey bass open beat. Inspired by Burial's "Archangel", it sounds like a mix of Charli XCX, Jorja Smith, and early James Blake. The artwork features the artist herself, surrounded by blooming flowers and bright colors, evoking the message of growth and self-discovery that the song conveys.
PROCESS
In addition to the artwork, we produced a range of promotional content to help the song reach a wider audience. This included gifs and videos that were shared on social media, generating buzz and excitement around the release. The social media graphics and strategy also utilized press coverage of the release, including the premiere and a review on music websites. We also created versions of the album art for use as banners on platforms like Spotify and Facebook. By creating eye-catching visuals that perfectly complemented the music, we were able to help Alarke share her message of self-discovery and attract new listeners for her release.
